DIGNITY HEALTH EDUCATION EMPOWERMENT HOPE

”When women rise, everyone rises with them. I started Fight for Her because I couldn’t unsee what I saw—and I knew I had to do something. Now I get to fight for women with the most courageous people on earth. And I hope you’ll fight with us.”

Her Story
Meet a member of the Batwa Community!
While progress is being made on the community hub and watching farms grow, I wanted to take a moment to shine light on one of the elders in our community. Meet Dingoro, one of the respected elders of the Batwa community. She carries decades of wisdom, pain, perseverance, and strength in her story. Dingoro was born and raised in the forests of Uganda, her ancestral home. But when the government pushed the Batwa people out in favor of tourism and conservation projects, she lost everything. The land her ancestors walked for generations was suddenly off-limits.
MEET DINGORO!
For 17 years, Dingoro lived on a quarter-acre plot behind the slums. No access to clean water. No security. No dignity. And yet she never gave up. Now Dingoro has a home in OLANGAMA, one of the resettlement villages made possible by your support. And for the first time in years, she has a home. A roof. A place to breathe. This isn’t just about land or shelter. It’s about identity. Safety. Reclaiming dignity. We believe it’s powerful to know who you’re fighting for. So please, take a moment to watch her story.
