Water is Life

Dear Supporters,

Greetings from Uganda, I'm back in the field to help with our ongoing efforts and thought what a better way for us to celebrate World water day March 22, than by showing off our most recent video project.

This water walk video showcases exactly why the work we are doing is crucial for this community. Please take some time to watch and share with you can. We are excited to be reasoning money for world water day since clean drinking water is where this project began and where our heart lies.

Water is life. For so many communities around the world, clean water isn't a guarantee-it's a daily struggle. That's why I want to share a story with you. A story about resilience, about hardship, and about the power of what we're doing together.

Last year, we were able to turn over ownership of a brand-new borehole well to a neighboring community near the Olanagama project we've been focused on. This was a huge win-one that will change lives for generations.

But while we were there, I met a man named Michael, and what he showed me rocked me to my core.

Michael invited me to walk in his shoes—to experience his daily Water Walk.

I've spent 13 years trying to understand what this struggle really feels like. But nothing could have prepared me for what came next.

Six hours. That's how long we hiked to fetch what amounts to barely half a day's water. Six hours of grueling terrain, carrying heavy containers, knowing that this is the only option for survival.

I've fought some of the toughest men in the world, stepped into the cage against warriors —but nothing I've ever faced in my life compares to this. It was the hardest thing I've ever done.

This is why we fight. This is why your support changes lives. Because for families like Michael's, access to clean water isn't just about convenience-it's the difference between thriving and barely surviving.

I want you to see this for yourself. Watch the video. Feel what they feel.

And know that with every well we build, every project we fund, we are fighting for the forgotten-together.
