What a trip! I just returned from a very powerful two weeks on the ground in Uganda.
After 13 years, I know every quarter brings new highs, new hurdles, and more chances to love and serve these Forgotten Communities. This last season was our biggest ever, thanks to your donations and support.
The Karambi Community HUB is rising up-literally.
The roof goes up next month, and we're adding staff housing to make sure our team has a safe, welcoming place to stay while they serve. But even more exciting? We're preparing to open the Karambi Health Center-something that's been a dream for a long time.

We knew we couldn't do this alone. That's why we've partnered with One World Health (OWH)-leaders in sustainable healthcare-so we can do this the right way.
They'll help us equip the facility, hire medical staff, and provide the structure to ensure long-term, professional care.
We've also received powerful support from Scott Kellerman, founder of Bwindi Community Hospital, and his Batwa Development Program team. They're stepping in to help find the right team for Karambi's clinic, and they're also joining forces with us in our Kisoro expansion. Their belief in this mission is humbling.
We're Expanding Our Reach
Our work has officially grown into Kisoro District - one of the few areas where mountain gorillas still exist in the rainforest—a place full of beauty and resilience. We're working with 4 communities in the district, starting with water supply and essential needs. These are people who've waited too long to be seen and heard, and we're honored to walk alongside them.
We've Expanded Our Team!
Olive, our Kisoro-based Technical Coordinator, is lively, motivated, and excited about advancing our mission in Kisoro.
Onesmus is our Agriculture specialist and will be working with each of the communities to hone their farming skills including preparing organic fertilizers and planting cash crops.
